Prang's family

A good way to start off this blog is by introducing you to Prang’s family.  Most of them are pictured here.  Prang now has all four of her sisters living within about 300 feet of each other.  Altogether, there are 8 kids, with one more on the way.  Prang's mother lives in Prang's house with her, her two kids, her youngest sister and I.  One of the most convincing marks of God bringing His kingdom on earth here in Prang’s village is the glorious work He’s doing among her family.  Prang became a Christian about 4 years ago after meeting a team of Americans with the Well.  Since then, many of her family members have become Christians as well.  When I first met Prang in March, she was serving God by herself, feeling very alone.  God has been doing a mighty work in her, and now it is spreading to her family and village.  Her family now worships together every evening during the weekday.  They all take part praying, choosing which songs to sing and reading through the book of Acts (they finished John already).  4 of her sisters, her mother, 8 kids and I are the regular attenders, with others coming sporadically.  Here they threw me a surprise Christmas party because they knew I’d be missing my family.  They’ve quickly become family to me :)
