Bill Graver, President

Hey, everybody, I'm Bill Graver, our Vice President, which really doesn't mean anything other than the fact that my friends are impressed with the title. I live in the Los Angeles area, where I enjoy spending time with my son, basking in the beautiful Southern California weather, and hanging out with friends from my church community.

I became involved with Servantworks in 2007 as a volunteer for a short term mission trip to Thailand. While there, I helped to do a construction project for a poor family and did some computer work at The Well. The short time I was there has had a profound impact on my life and my beliefs about what it means to live like Jesus. It's about loving people by coming under them and serving them. It's about pouring ourselves out for them. It's about having  humility, compassion, and empathy but it's more than that: it's about doing. It's not enough to feel bad for a person on the streets; we're called to do something to help.

The thing in life that gets me the most stoked is to just sit down with somebody and talk about Jesus. So if any of you are in the L.A. area, contact me. I'd love to hang with you and hear your story.
